The
Municipal Court office processes all violations of City ordinances and
State Laws resulting from misdemeanor arrests, citizen complaints and
traffic citations. In addition to processing, this office records all
violations, collects fines and provides support to the Municipal Judge.
The
Municipal Court was created by Ardmore City Charter, Article V, Section
33. "There shall be a municipal judge, who shall be an officer
of the City appointed by the City Manager for an indefinite term. The
municipal judge may issue warrants and subpoenas, administer oaths and
judgment, and punish for contempt."
Serving as Department Head and Finance Director/City Clerk is
Kenneth Campbell. Kenneth began working for the City of Ardmore on January
4,1993. He supervises not only the Finance/Municipal Court Department,
but also the Customer Service Department and Purchasing Department.
