Finance Department administers the fiscal operations of the City including
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Investments, Budget
Management, Internal Auditing, and Grant Administration.
supervision of the City Clerk, the Financial Department is also the
official records keeper of the City of Ardmore.
Department of Finance was created by Ardmore City Charter, Article
IV, Section 25. The head of this department will be a City Clerk,
appointed by the City Manager with approval of the Commission for
an indefinite time.
The City of Ardmore has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation
Award for 14 years. This
award is the highest form of recognition in Governmental Budgeting.
Serving as Department Head and Finance
Director/City Clerk is Kenneth L. Campbell. Kenneth began working for
the City of Ardmore on January 4,1993. He supervises not only the Finance
Department, but also the Customer Service Department and Purchasing
