Mountain Lake

Mountain Lake is closed for the season until further notice.

  • located twenty miles northwest of Ardmore
  • eight picnic tables and grills
  • only carry on boats allowed
  • overnight camping available
  • fishing allowed from the dam
  • everyone entering or leaving Mountain Lake must sign in and out with the lake keeper
  • all fish taken must be shown to the lake keeper

To help you better enjoy your time at Mountain Lake we will begin enforcing the 60 person campers/day visit occupancy. We will allow up to 60 persons in the lower camping area each day with priority going to those who have paid to camp. This number does not include those arriving with boat who will be on the water. We want everyone to enjoy their time at Mountain Lake and hope the enforcement of the occupancy rule will help better manage your experience.
