  1. Ambulance Service

    Southern Oklahoma Ambulance Service (SOAS) is a private, not-for-profit Emergency Medical Service agency serving the citizens of Carter and eastern Jefferson Counties.

  2. City Manager

    The City Manager serves as the chief executive officer, for the city government.

  3. Development Services

    The Developmental Services Department includes Planning, Building Inspections, Codes Enforcement, and Geographic Information Services (GIS).

  4. Emergency Management

    The Emergency Management Center is designed to provide the citizens of Ardmore with information and safety tips dealing with severe weather conditions.

  5. Engineering

    The Engineering Division plans streets, utilities, storm water management, and other public facilities. We assists homeowners, developers, and businesses with their interests and concerns in dealing with governmental regulations, including plans-review and project inspections.

  6. Finance

    The Finance Department administers the fiscal operations of the city, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, accounting, investments, budget management, internal auditing, and grant administration.

  7. Fire Department

    The Ardmore Fire Department is a career department of 33 firefighters and 1 administrative secretary manning 3 stations with a 56 square mile response area.

  9. Human Resources

    The Human Resources Department is responsible for maintaining the current staff of city employees and finding new members to enhance the staff when needed. The Safety and Health Manager is part of the Human Resources Department.

  10. Information Technology

    This department handles the computer network, applications and devices that transmit data within the city. The website, community service channel (Channel 6), ConnectCTY and Social Media are coordinated from this department

  11. Legal

    General counsel for the City Commission, City Manager, department heads, supervisors, and boards and committees.

  12. Library

    The Ardmore Public Library connects people with ideas, and supports lifelong learning by providing reliable information resources, a well rounded book collection, and other materials and programs that foster a literate, informed, and culturally aware community.

  13. Municipal Court

    The Municipal Court office processes all violations of city ordinances and state laws resulting from misdemeanor arrests, citizen complaints and traffic citations. In addition to processing, this office records all violations, collects fines and provides support to the Municipal Judge.

    The Ardmore Parks and Recreation Department is committed to providing clean and safe parks, as well as offering quality recreation programs to everyone in the Ardmore area.
